This is not from Microsoft....
Microsoft (as the way you have everything phrased looks like you think they sent it) does not review every DMCA that the companies they hire to send them, send.Herv? lemaire

Wow that's quite strange. If it's indeed real, they obviously use keywords to pick up on copies of their software.
Tip: You've been alerted to a post on your forum that may contain copyright content. Under DMCA, unless you counter-notice, I'd still remove it. (Seriously).

You know thinking about it, I know many places have filters setup to catch and detect certain patterns or words, or alike then send/filie a DMCA complaint but legally I don't think a computer can do it, as it has to be signed by someone, unless they are pre-signed, but this dmca is invalid due to whatever reason, you could probably take legal action on a false dmca, doubt you would get much out of it, but I think an easy thousand dollars, not sure what terms it would be under but I've seen it happen when people go around filing false dmca or for something they don't own, or have any legal right to file a complaint for, there is a lot of internet "want to be police" out there that will target your site or stumble upon it, file a dmca/abuse complaint until something happens but legally they have to OWN or have legal right to do something about it, which 90% don't.
Most companies will take on these large companies because it's easy, quick and fast money, of course most people won't pay but even if 40% do it's a nice profit.
Company that files complaints gets 60%
Company that owns the content gets 40% (and does nothing really)
If we file a complaint on you for $1000, you pay, I get $600, they get $400, easy cash if you ask me, and most companies will take less % because they don't want to deal with is, so they pay the company to do it.
