Make a site like Flippa or make wordpress like it?

I'm making an unofficial bookstore for my college where students can list their textbooks they no longer need and potentially sell it for a cheaper price for other students. I really want to have a site like flippa or maybe turn wordpress into a listings site like that. Any ideas?

Use Wordpress as a listing site or just use a e-Commerce script ?

Are you gonna be taking a comission per transaction? Or its just a free listing thing like craigslist

You can use a commerce script or one of those commerce plugins for wordpress. Im pretty sure you can find something similiar.

Free listing, we currently do it over fb through groups but its sooooo unorganized.

For free listing use Wordpress, its easy to use and you can find some nice themes.
