I want to block every possible spammer/spam bot, for my vB 3.8.7 PL2 forum.

kindly help me in pointing out every way to block them, not allowing to post, reply, create profile, every other possible.

want to stop spamming almost 100%, i know 100% cant be stopped but still i want to give it the maximum.

Validate new members via ACP.
Ban email filter.
Add captcha, for registrations.
Add captcha for newcomers when posting.

There is no way to block spammers 100% unless you disable posting option for members group. Thus only selected members (that you know/trust) will have the permission to post.

about replies, siggy and other stuff: do the same. restrict all the permissions for newly registered members.

There's a modification that allows you to block the default timezone when users register. This being because spammers/bots do not change the timezone. They would continue registration, leaving the timezone where it is.

Question... Why not just use captcha or KEY Captcha? There's also an option that allows you to add captcha to new posts, threads etc per usergroup permissions. You can also moderate posts per usergroup permissions. There are many different ways.
