I advise you to go the Admin CP and see:

Support > Diagnostics > Permissions Checker
For IP.Board to work, every files pointed by that tool should be writable.

Support > Diagnostics > Database Checker
For IP.Board to work properly there should be no errors in the database.

    System > Tools & Settings > Recount & Rebuild
Run "Resynchronize Topics" and after "Resynchronize Forums"

That was the first thing i had done.. everything seems to be fine..

    Problem Fixed...

I just remade the forums and moved the posts back into it...

if u moved the topics from the old forum to another forum it would be visible, but if u move it back it disappears

When I ported from IPB to vBulletin all the topics kept disappearing after a certain amount of time from their post time.

It was to do with the settings "Show posts from x days" or something in admincp I had to do to fix it, maybe a similar problem has happened on your ipb board. Check the forum settings and see if there is anything like "Display threads for x days" or something along those lines, gl

So kiss me and smile for me, say that you'll wait for me <'3
