Need some more help with HTML/CSS(certically centering a navigation thing)

aight so im trying to code atemplate(just to practise) and i cant make the text in the navbar center in IE and firefox
anyone know ohw?

put in margin: 0 auto; if this dont work put try it in the other navigation divs...

If none of that works then try <center> tag in html if that dont work then ask for more things

add this attribute to the div tag in the stylesheet

vertical-align: middle;

wouldnt work, im not using a table, and i tried making the div display as a table then using it but that didnt work either

Nope, it works on the new IE but not the older ones

A few examples:
Doesnt work with Avant
Doesnt work with IE6Doesnt even support Alpha transparency but that cant be fixed
Doesnt work with IE7<<yay Alpha Transparency
Doesnt work with Opera 7.54<wtf is going on there?
Doesnt work with IE5.5<lol no Alpha transparency OR CSS

Update: The template has been coded, the only thing left now is the menu thing, pissing me off

as in the upload issue not the navigation, still workin on that
