Default What would happen if this happened (question too long to put there) .. ?

Suppose you've uploaded some files on a filehost, and the links get reports and the files are deleted .. But you have a remote backup of those same files, which you then re-upload to that same filehost where they were deleted from, using remote upload or something ...

In the above case, since the MD5's of these new files would be exactly the same as those of the original files which the filehost had deleted, would the filehost automatically again delete these new uploaded files, since it would have figured out that these files are the exact same files as those previously reported ?

If this is the case then keep remote backups would be useless really ..

If the filehost blacklisted it you wont be able to remote, you will get a error.

So then why do people keep remote backups ? .. This would completely defeat the entire purpose of keeping a backup of the same files ..

Only solution would be to download the backup on a system, unrar, and the rar again with different parameters so as to generate a different MD5, and then upload this ... To much work to be honest .. :wink2:

Most change the md5 of the backup before they upload it.

Blacklisted - If I am not wrong this is only applicable with Rapidshare not with the new filehosts.
