    Default What is lighttpd?

    I bought my first VPS and I am wanting to install lighttpd, but I am not sure I understand what it is now.

    Is lighttpd a replacement for Apache, or do I need to have Apache installed as well as lighttpd?

    ha... lighttpd is a web server just like apache just its way better because it handles content like images and js much better...

    If you learn to use it then you will be much happier

    install kloxo, you can switch to lighttpd easily with that panel
