Some info for you.

About speeds in general:

Depending on your connectivity to our server network, your upload speed may be limited and slower than what you expect.

But, do we cap upload speeds? No, we don't. Again, depends on your server network. Throughput may be limited and slower than what you expect.

If you're a premium user, you may wish to install "Free Download Manager" software for improved download speed and extended features such as the ability to resume interrupted downloads.

As for download speeds, yes those are capped. But stilll, anonymous and free users can download at speeds up to 500 KB/sec.

In comparison, premium users can download at speeds up to 1 Gbit/sec.

As for uploading through FTP: We currently have servers only in the US to handle FTP uploads. In the near future, we will install servers in Europe for better upload speeds for European customers. We only allow one simultaneous connection from a single IP for security reasons.

If you're experiencing FTP connectivity issues such as slow upload speeds etc. we would like to let you know that the upload speed depends upon your connectivity to our server network.

Yes, we still are building. Forums are in the process of launching, so stay tuned.

The upload speed from UK can only achieve 500 ~ 600 KB/s.
It's too hard to work with your host.
