    Do you still have the files saved? I am asking for files and not database.

    Otherwise just go to phpmyadmin and click import. Then choose the DB you wanna import and click import. It will be imported.

    If you have the .sql file ... you can import it via phpmyadmin or via ssh using the following command ;

    mysql -u username -p dbname < backup.sql

    change username, dbname and backup.sql respectively ofcourse.

    Cheers,

    If files not there, then reinstall whatever you using. Whether forum or blog. For that its obvious that we need to create a DB. After installation is done, then import your previous DB on the one you just created. Edit the config file and change the DB name and username if they are not same.

    Hope this helps and you import your DB successfully.

    Thanks
