Dark or Light Skins?

Light skin easy on your eyes
you show any big sites using black or dark color??
It looks cool for some days then the black or any dark color
start hurting your eyes i don't like it

I don't really think you can calculate which type of skins people use most, but when it comes to choosing i like both of them.

well lets say u wana open a new warez forum, which skin will u choose, lets ask it this way

light skin sites tend to get visitors to return to the site more than very dark skin

Usally when I think or image a Warez web site the dark colors in the color table pop up in my head.

I think a lite colored template would go good with something like a information site or a community about tech related topics. Then when I think about dark colored templates or skins warez pops up, hacking etc stuff not nice and that comes out in the dark in other words ...

I think it depends. Dark tones may suit better warez and hacking websites or even gore websites. Just like a pink-ish website will look odd on a website full of dead people's pictures.
Though having a tracker with light colors can work very well if you give your website a different personality. It will stand out - at least unconciuously.

But yeah, I prefer light ones.
