Vbulletin installation /forum ?????

Hello i have a problem with my Vbulletin Installation

I will install it on my Domain

example

http://www.example.com/

like

http://www.besthostingforums.com/

If i try to install on my way it install it always this way

http://www.example.com/forum.php

How did i change this on the Vbulletin Installation way?!

Your installation is fine

vb4 uses forum.php vb3 uses index.php

Zip Vbulletin Upload Folder
Upload in cpanel & exctract zip file
Rename Config File Config.php.new to Config.php
Cread Detabase and configure config.php File
Run command : YourDomainName.com/install/install.php
And click next next after installation Del install Folder
Put user name and pass what u want
Now VB Done Successfully

put this

DirectoryIndex forum.php index.php index.html

I dont think he wants a sub directory

he just wants it to be

besthostingforums.com/
instead of besthostingforums.com/forum.php

do this

1)rename index.php to index_old.php
2)rename forum.php to index.php
3)in vb settings /forum home page settings
set Script Name for Forum Home Page as index, save and you are done
