Default Seeking external backup for my VPS

    Hello,

I have a VPS with cPanel / WHM.

I would like to make backups of VPS.

I do not use cPanel / WHM as too limited.

For example, with cPanel / WHM, backups quotients are not kept but erased.

    Thank you for your help

    Hi,

If you are serious about your data, i suggest any place with r1soft backups.

    You will simply love it.

Google it and you will know all its features.

    Cheers,
    Ryan

Another solution for you that might be cheaper then R1Soft would be simply to purchase a shared hosting plan and simply forwarding the backups to that account's FTP but R1Soft would definitely be best solution if you can afford the price. How big do you expect your backups to be?

My VPS has a 100 GB disk space

I use 10 GB of disk space.

    This can further increase

Then just make sure to get a big enough shared hosting plan, you could get something around that 10gb range for about 10$, but since its only 10gb you could go with R1soft since there isn't that much to back up. Also you still have plenty of space on your VPS you could always make weekly backups and download them to your private computer just for that added redundancy. Maybe purchase an external harddrive just for your backups so you can keep a few months of backups at a time. It really depends how important the data is to you and how much your ready to spend.

    Good luck!
    Regards,
    -John
