Wordpress double space issue

Hello,

It is not a 'double space' but paragraph. Wordpress auto phrases paragraphs for you. You can change the action in the toolbar at top right. Or you can just use HTML Editor to prevent these

i tried to paste the links in both html and visual mode but did not work

Ok, now i understand. You want to remove the space between the links you post.

In your dashboard, go to

Settings > Media > Untick, When possible, embed the media content from a URL directly onto the page. For example: links to Flickr and YouTube.
