reduce cpu load of mysql

The mysql cpu load on my vps is shooting upto 130% during sometimes, the cpu is fairly decent and the ram is also good but i cant seem to reduce the cpu load , any suggestions on how i can do that?

I have wordpress installed and Here are the plugins that i have installed

try disable ur seo pack plugins that will be increasing ur memory usage and cpu load

and installed xcache or eAcellerator this wil be make a diffrent

disabling it hardly caused a difference, got down to 99% from 103%

do you get alot of visits

i do get a lot of visits but the vps is decent enough to support that
