Hello all,

I bumped into these forums recently and I must say they look very interesting, and it has opened my eyes to all the possibilities that the internet has in making money.

However, as I'm new to all this, I was looking for some help/advice on what's the best way to get started, especially as a beginner.

What I currently have is webhosting, and about 4-5 domains.

Would this help me at all in achieving anything?

I have experience with vBulletin and currently learning all the basics, tips and tricks of IPB.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

In my opinion, i don't think you would really be getting the best advices that would greatly help you earning money through warez (Although some might be giving good ones). The best advice you can get is through experience.

Or don't get into warez. Sell geckos.

Something easy is to create a blog about stuff you like, write about it, decent articles/content.

throw some ads on it, let it grow.

theres also a lot of scripts out there used for legit sites.

Heres my advice:

1. Before you buy domains, think of the idea first. Then buy a domain that fits your site. Sounds obvious, but you'd be surprised how many people buy useless domains hoping to get traffic - but the traffic wont be returning the next day or the day after that.

2. Don't expect to make money. Be prepared to spend more than you make. This is true for about 95% of us probably. We try hard, but theres not as much money as you think there is.

3. Once you've come up with your idea and set up your forum or w/e, read up on one segment and then come ask questions (after you've tried to figure it out on your own a bit). So start with SEO or ask for a site review, for example.

As for blogs, I'm not that great a writer, I don't have much of an interest in anything in particular.

I can't disagree more on this.
There's so much money, that you would probably faint
