Authorities Closing On LulzSec
"The noose is tightening on hacker group LulzSec, according to a coordinated group of like-minded users, some from LulzSec-Exposed that claim to have uncovered the identity of LulzSec members and supplied them to the FBI. An arrest Monday of a UK teenager was rumoured to be former hacker scene member Ryan Clearly, and the trackers, which includes a former FBI agent, say this arrest is the first of many. They refused to disclose the identities of LulzSec chief, saying it would cause the members to burn the evidence of attacks and scatter."

this is just another "war on something". They are about as close to lulzsec as imagination is to reality.

It seems that everything was staged after all. I mean, they showed knowledge, that's for sure. But people with such knowledge probably know the basics of anonymity on the Interwebz, and they surely wouldn't get caught if someone Googles their email address, or tries it on Facebook, or any other social network site.
Kinda lame to be honest...

tufos.netNaaah I guess it will be hard to catch all them.. they now have a brazilian 'co-group' called LulzSecBrazil.. as I posted in another post they took down Presidence of Brazil, Petrobras (one of the biggest petroil companies of the world) and Brazilian IRS.
Attacked sites: (presidencia.gov.br, receita.fazenda.gov.br, brasil.gov.br and petrobras dot com dot br)
Update: presidencia.gov.br and petrobras dot com dot br received a DDoS attack of 340 millions shots in 1 hour (each site).
Update 2: Brazilian TV Channels just mentioned now that over 2 billions shots (or visits from botnets) were dispared to presidencia.gov.br, receita.fazenda.gov.br, brasil.gov.br and petrobras dot com dot br in 3 hours.
