My site gets very slow (Rapidleech) (dedicated server)
hi there,
i have a dedicated server ,
here is configs :
AMD Athlon 2 Quadcore
8GB ram
100MBps port
CentOS 64Bit
Plesk 9.3 (linux !)
i am running Public rapidleech on it.
now i have problem that, if some moderate users are online, (i.e. 15 users) then also my site is taking lots of time to load,
also, in plesk, average load is about 3~5 , and Free ram is 6.3GB always.
i am restarting my server daily, but still after 30 min of restart, it loads very heavely.
pls someone give some solution for it.
i am very about it.dhruvpandit Reviewed by dhruvpandit on . My site gets very slow (Rapidleech) (dedicated server) hi there, i have a dedicated server , here is configs : AMD Athlon 2 Quadcore 8GB ram 100MBps port CentOS 64Bit Plesk 9.3 (linux !) Rating: 5

EastsideHosting.com MediaONAIR.com ImgWiz.com cPadmin.net EastsidePCWorks.com HostedTalk.comProbably exceeding your 100 Mbps...if you're offering a public rapidleech; therefore causing load problems.
If it continues, you might want to consider upgrading to a 1 Gbps or move your sites to another server and keep the public rapidleech or close it.EastsideHosting - (Web Hosting, Proxy Hosting, Reseller Program)

Well according to me there are no such low cost 1gbit servers. u need to pay least 200$ for a decent one i guess.

newrapidleech.com blog.newrapidleech.comif you are using apache, google this : mod_cband
if you are seeking an alternative for apache, go with lighttpd as a reverse proxy for nginx. lighty handle php files, nginx handle static files.
good luck mate
