Can I get into trouble for file sharing?
Hey KWWHunction,
been lurking this forum for a while, and decided today that I wanted to join in. Yay
I have especially been looking through the threads of people sharing files through various filehosts, like FileSonic, RapidShare, MegaUpload, Wupload, Oron etc. and decided I would give it a try with FileSonic with a friend of mine. We want to see if you can actually make a decent amount of money on it.
I got a serious question though: is it illegal to upload porn from premium sites (Brazzers, NaughtyAmerica, Mofos, PornPros etc.) and link the files on various porn forums?
My plan is to use a Multi Poster, maybe either buy ExtremeCoders or themPoster, I am not sure. But can the following get me into trouble? Is it possible to get busted and either recieve a big bill and serve jail time?
Would a proxy make me safe (if I use either an anonymous L1 or L2 proxy)?
Is it me or FileSonic that would get the trouble, or does the company (Brazzers e.g.) just complain to FileSonic and asks them to remove the files?
Thanks, I hope some kind person can help me with this
Either your own experience or some official source would be awesome.Hafnium Reviewed by Hafnium on . Can I get into trouble for file sharing? You could but the probability of it happening is .001%
The company usually just complain on the hoster and delete your files... Sometimes they go on the forums you've posted and ask the admions to delete your posts

I hope you're kidding warung giras, that sounds horrible if they actually do that...
I just want to make sure that the company blame FileSonic, and asks them to remove/delete the file on their server. I don't mind that, as long as FileSonic don't start to leak details about me, like paypal, bank, ip, name etc.
Haven't connected any data to the PayPal though, and I have used another name. Just for now.
Think I'm ready to start this porn sharing stuff, I really want to try. So I searched around, and tried to combine some tools I would need for being successful. It requires to invest, but I just hope the income is bigger than the money spend on tools.
I would be needing a:
VPS - I'm not sure of it's because of security, as I am not having the actual files on my harddrive or just because of the DL/UL speed. What host would you recommend?
Multi Poster - so I can share post on many forums at the same time. This is probably the most wanted tool, as I can post up to 5 - 10 boards at the same time, those boost the downloads a lot. Thinking either ExtremeCoders or themaPoster.
sBorg - I'm not sure if this is needed if I download directly from the site (Brazzers, Mofos, NA etc.) or only needed if I am leeching from other filehosts (found on porn warez sites)? Seems to make the process a lot easier, by downloading, unrar-ing, add information and upload to filehosts with a push of a button.
Am I on the right track or have I missed something here?
How about proxies, should I be using them or would that do pretty much nothing?

Dangerous or not?
Yes, it is.
Uploading makes some money, may be good money, in the same time it has some risk.
Hosting company know their risk too. They write down TOS that you must not upload illegal stuff. If they go down, you will go down with them. Anyway they're also knowing what they are doing. Every company turns a deaf ear on what you uploaded.
They will not give your information easily, unless they get a writ. If they don't protect uploader, no one will do this shit business with them. That's why many company (such as filesonic) hosts in offshore.
If you decide to jump in this shit hole, you should prepare yourself.
You should know one thing. The really dangerous isn't Hosting company. It is the forum hosting. You should better check exhaustively, where is those forum hosts? You should stay away from the forum that host in your country. And you should not upload stuff that the owner have representative in your country too.
Anyway, if you think you are good enough, you can do anything that you want.
