    Default How to optimize mysql

    i checked vi /etc/my.cnf

    the contents are

    [mysqld]
    set-variable = max_connections=500
    safe-show-database


    I already searched about my sql tuner etc.

    but where is the following located

    tmp_table_size = 64M
    max_allowed_packet = 64M
    max_connect_errors = 10
    query_cache_limit = 1M
    query_cache_size = 32M
    query_cache_type = 1
    query_prealloc_size = 16384
    query_alloc_block_size = 16384

    . In my my.cnf file there is no such things.

    some one pls help me.

    in my server around 150 online. server is

    intel i7 920 , 8gb ram. now almost 82% of ram is used.
