Just Got a DMCA Notice About WWE Shows

Hello Mates,

I just got a DMCA notice about WWE Shows in my forum.

They have asked me to remove the whole Sports Section and to ban a user. My website is hosted in Germany.

I have thought of suspending their needed User for a week or so and taking down the whole section.

What do you think?

that't not sounding like a proper notice. Just a general notice. Wait for a email titled DMCA

I doubt a real notice will ask you to remove sections and ban user. This is how a real DMCA notice should look like..

they cant ask you to remove section of your forum, only posts so just trash it, could be competitor site trying to get you take down those if you rank higher , i have done that and still do... its bad but what ever you need to do to be 1st

Just tell them that you nor the user host the files in anyway and that they should deal with the filehost themselves.

Why don't you transfer the site to a host that ignores DMCA ?
