installing vbulletin 4 !! Help

i tried to install vbulletin 4 and it stucks on step 2 .. i tried 3 different versions and all stuck on this step ..no error is shown .... as its working perfectly fine for other web masters ...

PHP: 5.2.0
MySQL: 4.1.0

Installed on the server?

check the config.php file..

did u replaced the old config.php file with vbulletin 4 config.php file..
and enter all details in config.php file..

yes i did ... and when i choose the config.php file for editing .. i get only this syntax



i downloaded this file to my pc and it shows everything there

Which client did you used to upload the vB to your webserver?
Did you uploaded the files in binary mode?

If you are using filezilla you should change the settings:

i simply zipped the file and uploaded it and then extracted it ... i have installed it several times on other hosts .. but i dont know why im facing this thing ...

and i also edited the config.php file on my pc and then uploaded it to the host but still the same thing .. plz help guyz

Looks like the config file is missing some things, try uploading a new config file. Make sure you edit it and place in the includes/ folder.
