    Default Database cause high server load

    Hello,
    My forum database cause too much server load.
    Iam using Mybb.

    Any idea to decrease this CPU load? optimization the database?

    I can believe this easily. I have a mybb forum too with a huge db and it's horrible.

    I hope somebody will try to help us with some suggestions.

    Do you use any accelerator? APC, eAccelerator or Varnish? Do you use a vps, dedicated server or a shared account?

    this also depends on how much daily vistors you get im sure that can effect cpu

    if you using cpanel get nginx installed it make a big difference but i dont know how to install them but some will know on here or what site will install it for a smal fee

    If mysqld using high server resource then cache your mostly used mysql result.

    Mysql uses 130% .

    install mysql 5.5.12 its fastest mysql version
    then optimize it using mysqltuner
    and install memcached for database cache and install Eaccelerator with php 5.3.6 .
    My current version is 5.1.41, is that an old one?
    I'll try to do these things.
