need help about user group permission

I want to add a permisson that no member can start thread without making a thread on introduction section.

I am using ipb 3.1.4

What sud i do??

restrict users from posting on other section? leave a note saying "members. you can't post in few sections till you don't make an introduction thread" etc...

ACP/Tab Forums/ Click edit settings for every section (arrow on right side) exept the Intro section / Tab Postable Forum Settings and choose your wanted amount of posts (for example 1).

This should now make it impossible for a member to post anywhere else then the first post in the introduction section but please test first as I havent done this myself.

As upnorth said but you should also create a members group with full permissions to post in all forums you normally have members post. And change the first group that is allowed to post only in the intro forum to be promoted after 1 post to the full member group.
