need shell command to search and delete

some one pls give me shell command to remove files with php extenstion .

upon running all php files in the folder and all the subfolder must be removed automatically

pls help me

rm - remove files or directories

-f, --force
ignore nonexistent files, never prompt

-r, -R, --recursive
remove directories and their contents recursively


so rm -rf *.php if I understand what you want
