Calculate MP3 time length with bitrate and file size?

I found somewhere using google that you can calculate the mp3 time length by using bitrate and file size.If that's true what's the formula ?

Easy.

Example:
MP3 Filesize: 3.89MBytes
Bitrate: 128Kbits
Length: 04:15

Convert Mbytes to Kbits:
3.89Mbytes * 1024 = 3983Kbytes
3989Kbytes * 8 = 31866Kbits

Convert Kbits to Length:
31866Kbits / 128Kbits per second = 249 seconds
249 seconds / 60 seconds = 4.19 Minutes

i just calculated myself before seconds

Here is my formula time=bitrate
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz -------
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz filesize/8

And btw it is only for constant bitrate


I calculated it,with the help of the following precise fraze : "1MB per minute at 128Kbps"
