Design Creation (?200 ~ $333) - Comp

Hi Guys,

I would like to launch a competition for a template which i need designing for
LinkJust the design needs to be cool looking but simple at the same time
this design will be used for the project: LinkJust
Which i explained a bit about in this thread:

Please read what i wrote in the above thread so that you understand a bit
of what the site is about.

What i want in a bit more detail is a mix of 3
current themes i like:

Hostgi.com (I like the colour scheme)
Hostgi is now offline so:

fileserve.com (I like the header - KWWHunction has simlar header)

safelinking.net (I like the simplicity)

When creating creating the Design please have in mind:

1. Must fit all resolution (minimum 1024 x 768)
2. Site will have 1 Skyscraper (120x600) on each side (left and right - seperate of content)
3. Site will have 1 Leaderboard (728 x 90) on top (below header but above content)

Also a second one without any adverts at all (content area extended)

This competition involves Design and Coding and Logo.
Once designed you will need to code it into xhtml/css

The Prize for this competition is:
£200 ~ $333 (Paypal - fee's covered by you as will be sent as payment for service)
The prize is not dependant on the USD currency its dependant of GBP so the
GBP will not very but the USD will very according to the exchange rate.

This should be a professional design and centered
and if i have any small requests of colour changes
they should be implemented - This is a design for a Business.

Please post preview of your design (Big enough so i can actually see whats going on
in them) and you can put your watermark w.e but not to obscure the image too much,
me and my business partner will choose the winner 14 days from this Thread date
24 hours +/- as we cant all be exact
Submit as many Design's as you would like

iLike (sorry, I couldnt help it ) the project, sounds like a good idea and I'll be glad to be part of it.

Just a question: would you have ads on the homepage? The one where you'd add the links.

This is a competition from which i want to see a variety of submissions

Can we have some creative freedom on the layout? For example, the header as the examples you gave us, may look out-of-place in the concept I'm working on.

Also, do you already know what kind of ads you're gonna have on the leaderboard? Are they images or text?

And the last - and weirder - one, you dont have any problem about really user-friendly and kinda minimalist interfaces, do you? In my view this project is excelent to deliver something simple on a simple and easy way.
Less is more (at least in this case).

Regarding the header i do like the header i've specified but you do have
the freedom of creativity as long as it looks good.

Regarding the simplicity i would liek something simple but at the same time
cool looking and professional the colour scheme has to be something along
the lines of what i have specified.

Regarding the leaderboard advert it would be a image ad if possible
i would try to make sure that all the ad's which are on the site are
image adverts and not text (need to find out if that can be specified
on google ad's) - worst case scenario top advert will be one that i
do myself i.e. promote another site of mine or fileserve/filesonic.

Also regarding site dimensions it must fit 1024 x 768 screen resolutions.
