I remember uploading 2.88mb files to tripod. Those were the days. It was a huge honor to be a uploader back then! It was hard to get permanent upload positions with actual websites. Not many forums/blogs back then. People actually made sites. You had to make 100's of free hosting accounts because they'd delete your account within minutes sometimes.

Well considering i have been in the scene for alot of years,long before RS and any of the new hosts that have crept up, you leechers (not uploaders,leechers you take real sceners work,rape it and take out the real warez scener nfo in most cases and call it your own 'work') then expect to gain rewards etc from it. THat is what pisses me off. Most of you nu-uploaders are to young to remember warez for what it really is,or maybe you knw but are blinded by dollar signs.

Torrent trackers weren't created to make money, they were created to share, with money as a side benefit.

Uploaders/Leechers only exist for the money, as do the hosts they use these days.

No it isn't.

Katz created and ran katz until the day he lost it with money being a low priority.
Sickness ran all of his sites non-profit to begin, as did I, xite, spawn, koosh, everyone. We all monetised them later, hence we did not create them with the main aim of earning money.

Uploaders become uploaders so they can earn money, they dont care who downloads it and how, as long as they get their dollars. Also you pretty much just said you and every other uploader is in it for the money when you said its the main benefit, so yeah, thanks for agreeing.

there is 2 kind of uploaders ,,,
1st REAL uploaders , who spend time on searching for the staff and make a topic and upload bla bla bla ...
2nd FAKE uploaders (leechers) , who just use remote uploading and take a copy of ur topic .

lets go again to real uploaders , why are you all saying they are cashwhores and they have ruined the scene ?
lets say they upload to Oron only , have they forced anyone to download ?
they are tons of other topics with different mirrors !
its just some of the lazy guys keep saying that coz they are jelous from uploader making much money with lil effort.

Not all are cashwhores, just the ones who spam remoteuploads to the cash-based filehosts.

KWWH isn't a money-making-forum, its a webmaster forum (now an uploader forum in disguise). I'm here because i've been on every warez webmaster forum since they first existed.

Let me demistify term "sharing is caring."

Sharing warez: doing illegal thing.
Caring: no one cares that downloader can be arrested doing such illegal thing.
Sharing is caring is term made up by those who are monetizing warez.
Monetizing: I have windozle 8, bought it for 200$
I give it to cracking group.
They make magic.
They 'share' it, and everyone earned 200$ from Microsoft work.
So, it's monetizing from the step one.

How about: I buy windows 8
And I give it to you.

That fits in "sharing is caring", and no monetizing, by all means.
