Actualy this is bigger case than you think - outcome of this and few similar cases ( ex. iPad lawsuits ) going on can decide to what "extent" we own the hardware/software we bought. Current trend among producent is to limit our rights as much as possible, so that they can decide what we can and cannot do with stuff we bought ( and it's going way overboard - for example Blizzard entertaiment claims that you don't "buy" world of warcraft box - you're only renting it - see Blizzard entertaiment vs. mmoglider case ). Unless this shit won't be stopped, in few years microsoft will be able to forbid using mozilla on systems running windows OS, and you will face 50.000$ fine under dmca law for installing it...

I'm glad they did this!
We pay for the stuff we buy! They are no one to tell us what we can't do with it.
Its like saying we bought a pot but we cant poop on it.
Greedy little bastards./

FlowForums.comYou realize that they bare standing up for your rights? Sony is trying to limit anything we can do with the stuff we buy. You all need to read before crying like girls. So what PSN was down for a bit. They didn't aim to take PSN offline they only wanted to bring down the sony and .playstation websites NOT PSN.
