Please help me changing MX Records

Hello,

I had installed Cpane/WHM on my VPS as a trial mode.. but the cpanel is expired now and stopped working and i am unable to use the webmail which is important for me..

So now i want to change my MX records and wanna use google mail service for my site's mails..

Please tell me how do i change the MX records now using SSH...

Are you using Dovcot or Courier mail ?

I said WHM and cpanel is not working i cant do anything i am not able to edit DNS settings as WHM is not working.. i will have to edit some file manually.. please tell me how to

it was answered in the link above, edit files in /var/named/<domain.com>.db and restart named.

As far as i know no services stop when your licence expires, so it may not be as simple as editing a MX record to fix it.

Why not buy a cpanel licence or install another panel?

well cpanel is very costly and i dont need anything that needs that much money..

i know i have to edit that file but please can anybody tell me how do i edit it..

please tell me step by step

If you read the articles of the two links i provided you with you will find the answer, it is just not something that can be answered, Read up on it the answer is on both of those pages on how to do it via SSH
And compared between vps/dedicated cpanel is cheap for a virtual server
