    Doing things differently.

    Default USB Hard-drive.

Ok, i've got one plugged in at the moment.
Sitting here playing music n boom, quiet, it disconnects it self then re-connects can hear the ( ding dong rofl ).

Then it asked for a format, which i moved all data, done it then moved it back.

So i got a new lead, still the same problem, changed it to another port, was fine for afew days then it's doing it again.

So moved it into port into the front for now.

WTH is it doing? It can't frying the ports cause i've put my mouse/keyboard in them and they are fine :/

Might be driver compatibility... whats the model/drive name? I've seen this happen myself with a few of my drives. One of which is a driver of another USB based device can cause another to not work. Each USB Port keeps it's own list of drivers.
