Most DDL sites just take the Phaze FireFox addon which is ripped from Katz Version 1 and edit it. That's what rardownload, twilight.ws, linkplz and everyone else has done. You'll get that for $5-10 as it's just editing an existing. If you want your own unique one not copied and encrypted like MechoDDL or Katz Version 2 expect to pay $100+ which is what DJ I believe is referring to and it's a nightmare finding someone to do it.

Where to get the rip for editing? and how to edit, whats it coded in?

the firefox addons have javascript code, search some info about the firefox addons and you will see how simple it is

Twilight's isn't the same as Katz as we have the ability to select types.
