Better use the latest version: ipb seo 1.3 and make sure you chmod your sitemap.xml in your root to 777

fuck me!! i am using 1.3 (i wrote 1.1 by mistake), but still i am unable to create sitemap, chmod is 777.

either the sitemap is not created or else if it is created then only 3 urls are inside it

Are you 100% sure that mod you're trying to use is compatible with the version of IPB you're using?

is the file chown'ed to your account and are you using IPB 3.1.4 (or higher)?

oh and by the way. it generates the sitemaps automatically.

BTW how do u know the sitemap is not generated

Look into cache folder and u will find 3 files

sitemap_core.xml
sitemap_topics.xml
sitemap_forum.xml

Download them and extract and see if u find any topics inside

U will get to know they are been updated regularly

wait for next auto generation or start it manually by scheduled tasks & check If it`s working.

It seems like chmod wasnt 777 when IP Seo tried to generate sitemap.

Is your sitemap.xml looking like this?

PHP Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<sitemapindex xmlns="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9">
<sitemap>
<loc>http://www.YourSite/index.php?app=ipseo&module=sitemap&sitemap=sitemap_forums.xml.gz</loc>
<lastmod>2011-04-07T05:40:57+00:00</lastmod>
</sitemap>
<sitemap>
<loc>http://www.YourSite/index.php?app=ipseo&module=sitemap&sitemap=sitemap_topics.xml.gz</loc>
<lastmod>2011-04-07T05:40:57+00:00</lastmod>
</sitemap>
<sitemap>
<loc>http://www.YourSite/index.php?app=ipseo&module=sitemap&sitemap=sitemap_core.xml.gz</loc>
<lastmod>2011-04-07T05:40:57+00:00</lastmod>
</sitemap>
</sitemapindex>
If it does, you do not have to worry. If you will look closely in your cache folder you will see that contains the xml files that your sitemap is referring to.

sitemap_forums.xml.gz
sitemap_topics.xml.gz
sitemap_core.xml.gz
