OK I saw Social Network movie and I just wondering how he do that thing when he look live hits on his facemash. I mean does this kind of monitoring traffic exist or it is just in movie.




I have VPS server so can someone teach me how to do same thing (if it is possible)

On the movie, he is using the Harvard network, you can get these type of stats from a router. I doubt you could have that access on a VPS, you can have it on your own PC if you host a website.

So i guess, dedi with Windows installed and a remote desktop account.

then type vnstat -d
