Unhappy Why my browsing speed is poor :S

Well, from this morning my browsing speed is very bad

Sites are loading very slow, pictures are broken, and I can't figure it out

I'm using windows xp, and I have avast 6.

Tried with different browsers, same problem.
    Malwarebytes says PC is clean.
    Defragmented the hd, same problem.
Tried to restart modem and PC, but problem is still there.
Checked connection speed, and everything seems to be ok, I'm getting ok results.

What can be the problem ?

Maybe a undetected virus. Try cleaning your PC with different AVs.

    mmm mmm!
Download SuperAntiSpyware and scan your computer.

worms, trojans, phishing schemes, spyware, etc.
HATERS GONNA probably bring up some valid points considering I am an ignorant little twat so far up my own ass that i blame my problems on everyone and if you criticize me you're automatically wrong.

Can only be your ISP or perhaps you connection.

Tell us how you connect, ie WiFi, Ethernet etc..
Also, where there any construction works close to your building? It could be that the cables got damaged and there is a high packet loss. Use an app to test your lines "noise".

Well, I will try with superantispyware, but I doubt its a virus if malwarebytes can't detect it...

I have a classic dsl internet, that should be ethernet right ?

No constructions near me, maybe ISP having some problems

But your speed is normal, right? Try pinging google.com via cmd, try to download some torrent, or anything from RapidShare or any other file host. If it works, it's some browser problem... But it's kinda bizarre that same thing is happening in all browsers, hmm.
