People can't register on my forum

Hi,

My site was getting around 50-100 registrations per day and the members were increasing till yesterday but when i saw the stats today i didn't see any increase in the number of members then i tried to make a new account and saw that i didn't receive the validation code and that's the problem i think but my site's say that Within the next 10 minutes (usually instantly) you'll receive an email with instructions on the next step.
So can anyone tell me what to do please?
