How to install any programms on VPS?

i am gonna buy some VPS, probably one of those

I have a few questions.

Is it complicated to install any soft in it? Or its just like table PC.

I have used VPS many times, but never any maintance services, etc...

So here is my question...

I suggest you get a windows one, since you're not familiar with linux.

its hard to manage linux vps , you must know a lot of difficult commands
its better for you to use windows vps like nidzabg say

If you are not comfortable with Linux then a Windows VPS would be the best option for you. You need to know some terminal commands if you want to be able to manage a Linux VPS.

Windows is almost always more expensive, and depending on what you want to do with it, its probably not going to be a good OS to use.

First time I got VPS it was linux and I worked out what to do fine. Just used google.
