Heres a nice little hack i found to allow you to download youtube videos.

FLV:

Paste this block of code within the address bar to download the video file and then just rename it to .flv

javascript:window.location.href = 'http://youtube.com/get_video?video_id=' + swfArgs['video_id'] + "&l=" + swfArgs['l'] + "&sk=" + swfArgs['sk'] + '&fmt_map' + swfArgs['fmt_map'] + '&t=' + swfArgs['t'];

MP4 HD

Same again with this one

You can also add these blocks as bookmarks and then use the bookmark button to download the video
