Conver all my files on the server to .zip ??

Do you have any idea how to convert all files on the server to one file .zip?
Can i use ssh to do such thing? and how?

what to you mean by convert?
if want to zip all files and folders or something else?

I mean putting them all in one .zip file (including all the files and folders in the server) so that i can upload them elsewhere or even downloading them (as one link).
