    Default Need help set up connection for openvpn server

    Hi

    i install openvpn on lunx server but i don't now how to connect from my home windows to openvpn on server

    please help me

    Just install OpenVPN GUI for Windows..

    Then just google it.. very simple

    thanks but i install OpenVPN GUI for Windows ,there is a lot of things to setup how to work with them any instruction available?
    by the way are you known any other vpn solution for lunx server less than confusing openvpn?

    I have never used it but there is a teamviewer for linux.

    Have you built the certificates? You need to download the CA Private and server certificate and configure them in your windows OpenVPN client,

    I have to admit, OpenVPN is a bitch Very hard to use, but the best VPN protocol!

    That is incorrect. And none of what you mentioned is needed.


    After you're done installing OpenVPN on your server (assuming you installed it correctly), simply access:

    https://yourip:943 (this is assuming the default port is 943). Skip the security warning and login with the credentials you initially defined during setup. Once logged in, download the executable, install it, run it, enter your username and password, connect, and you're good to go!

    mazyar: did you use the easy-rsa tools to create your certs? I wrote this openvpn tutorial for debian 6 which explains how to setup openvpn create the ca, sign the certs etc. it also explains how to create a client.ovpn config file. http://internetz.me/?p=320

    Is your linux server a VPS ? If so is it openvz , XEN or KVM?
