Filesonic new plans :



1. The $35/1000 , marketing strategy - Free users can't download files above 1GB

2. It is only a matter of time before most of the biggest forums make a rule that all filesonic links must available for free users up to 1GB .

Sucks - coz all my files are 450mb specially designed to get sales

If i make the limit 1GB , will definitely get less sales

Don't change the settings (Free User Download Limit) to 1G you will be OK.

i don't think that big forums like pornbb for example will change to 1gb because they earn from sales made by users.

Makes no difference.

PPS affiliates will still have the maximum filesize for free users set at 400mb and they will still get sales. PPD affiliates will set it to 1gb and still have downloads (earning even more i guess). Large forums' owners profit from sales coming from their site, so i dont think you will see any drastic change in their rules about filesonic's links.

This is not true... Forums will keep it at 400MB, and the uploader has the choice to post 1GB or 400MB downloadable by free users.. Filesonic.com is a very well recognized file host and we will not have problems with forums.

I dont think the forums will say that, it is the uploader's choice that what size he chooses for the uploads. No forum can force that, if one does, its better to leave such a stupid forum
