SEO - By And For A Beginner (Pros, kindly have a look)

Hello friends,

KWWH has been like a home to me, besides my home, WBB and my school!
Well, I asked some questions about a lot of stuff (Linux, PHP, MP4) and I have found all my answers here.

I've learnt a lot of things from KWWH and intend to learn more too, after all, knowledge is an ocean.

Okay, so I made this forum:

Its hosted on SmokeHost and its running nulled vB.

I installed the following plugins form www.vbteam.info:
1) vBSEO v3.6.0 Release Candidate 1 for vBulletin 3.x and 4.x PHP.NULL-iND

2) vBSEO Search Engine XML Sitemap

Well I installed all the stuff.. and I generated this sitemap and submitted it to Google Webmaster Tools after verifying my domain.

Now in Google Webmaster Tools even after 7 hours its reporting Index Count Pending, why? I don't know.


I asked my buddy rohanviolin and he told me that I should submit a .xml file and not a .xml.gz file. Now I asked another guy and he told me that a .xml.gz file is fine and that it will take around 2 days to get the site indexed.

My questions are as follows:
1) How much time will it take for the site to get indexed?
2) Every time I post a new topic and want to update my sitemap, will I have to manually submit it?

I hope that somebody will help me out, it'll be a great help to a beginner.

1. Depends. Could be like 2-3 days, or may be more or less. Hard to say.
2. Google will download the updated sitemap periodically I think. Not really needed to submit again and again manually.

I dont know the ans but You better install VBSEO and just generate SItemaps, According to me those will be automatically submitted.

You will not have to automatically submit each thread!

its better to submit xml well from my experience also once you submit you won't have to do it again as the mod will ping search engines depending on the delay sitemaps will be generated

Its still not indexed mate.

click on your xml file and see if google already downloaded it or its pending.

As far as I am concerned, you are providing me with a descent service and till not I have got 100% server uptime. I have bought a 4 month package, lets see how this goes.
