try to fix what's causing the high load
    or go for another host
or even do to a vps or dedicated

ask host to give u screenshot of load.

They may tell u abt heavy load so that u may purchase there VPS hosting instead of Shared.

M also using IPB 3.1.4 , its not that CPU consuming , unless u have a big forum.

It's usually the search feature that causes heavy load. If you disable that, along with any seo programs your cpu should drop down again.
But yes, it's time for you to move.

IN IPB acp there is a section called cpu utilization. Turn on the options suggested. Cut return characters of a search to less bytes and number of topics.

If you have hooks/mods/apps installed disable them until you find which is causing the problem.

Also in the ACP there is a section for support that will tell you the mysql utilization. I still would not believe that a Mysql query could use 60% of cpu. Memory yes. CPU no.

Unless you are doing a backup of a large database and compressing the output.
