as it seems domains are getting seized quite often these days i was wandering would registering a .ru domain be the best way to prevent this

also if the answer is yes can you reccomend any domain registras that sell the .ru domains

Well I see that IPT did this, but not quite sure as a big RU tracker had its domain seized.

Well, no domain is safe.

Ultimately, every domain is owned by ICANN which is in support of US Laws. So any domain can be seized by them if the legal issue is big.

torrents.ru got deleted by russian registrar so I would say no
