HotNewHipHop.comCreate a vBulletin Report/Infraction Section
Im pretty sure a lot of you know this and A lot of you don't!
So I'm going to show you real quick how you can make an automated "Staff" section for your vBulletin Forum.
Example:
What you need to do is Create a Forum Section called Staff or whatever you want to name it.
(make sure that section is only viewable to MODS/ADMINS)
After you created the "Staff" section then create 2 More Forums under that section
1 will be for Reported Posts and PM's. (when ever a user reports a post/thread/pm, vBulletin will automatically create a thread under that forum with the details of the report.
Example:
This is how the report thread will look like:
The next forum that you should create should be for Infractions
You can name this w.e you want. (remember to make it viewable to mods/admins)
Every time a MOD/ADMIN infracts an user vBulletin will also make a thread with the details of the infraction like that the whole staff knows whats going on.
This is how the infraction report will look like:
After you have created this 2 sections, now you want to head to the ADMIN CP and assigned this 2 sections.
ADMIN CP > vBulletin Options > User Infractions & Post Reporting Options
You should be here:
Under User Infraction Discussion Forum choose the forum section from the drop down menu in which you would like the infractions to be placed. (in this case the section you made for infractions)
Under Post Reporting Discussion Forum choose the forum section from the drop down menu in which you would like the Reports to be placed.
(in this case the section you made for Reports)
Click the Save button and you should be done
