Copyright Claims
Hello guys, I'm pleased with the development of my site. As the time goes by, the number of visitors per day are getting higher (thanks to katz).
But in exchange for this, I also receive several emails complaints from my guests that they are claiming to have the copyright materials posted on my site. They are asking me to removed the download links or just delete the thread. Actually, the reported threads are posted by my trusted members. I replied to them (complainants), that they should contact the filehost where the said copyrighted material are uploaded, and then do some email and not on my site.kizmark Reviewed by kizmark on . Team-XPC.comI don't think these people above understand fully. If they didn't send you an email then it's not legitimate, secondly verify if the request is real and not fake. Add a dmca link at the bottom of your page and post a few simple requirements that you require verification of who is sending the letter.

Team-XPC.comlol we and everyone knows that disclaimer is pure bullshit If you have warez on your website is your duty to delete them. Just that fact that your are "facilitating" an area for warez distribution is more then enough and no matter what you put will make you any safer.
Get a DMCA Page with the correct laws for your country and the country the site is hosted on, and an easy way for them to contact you. That way they will just ask you to remove stuff instead of going to your host.Bad Uploaders: mayank101, zer(0), UltimateUploader, immu, much more..

I would firstly look to who sent it, and if it's really by the copyright holder. People of other forums can also send emails like that to prevent that the others grow up.
But, hiding your IP is really a smart thing. You never know.
