[Paying] help needed regarding vBulletin some errors

hey hi guys, i don't know what happen to my site suddenly it started giving me error

Database error in vBulletin 3.8.3:

Invalid SQL:

i think i have to upgrade it now because we use pirated,

so , need to know
if we can shift the DB to phpbb or we will have to buy VB license

note: we will see the work etc... and pay you but don't worry we will pay you

it is vbulletin 4.0.9 .. i think u can upgrade it
