I decided to learn web coding/development...Need Help starting

Hey guys,

I have decided to start learning how to code sites etc.

I have seen site like w3schools, htmldog, tizag, etc... But I was always lazy to learn them well ( i mean apply them)

Well,

I want some good sources FOR HTMLand CSS for a start, A source which helps me pratice my codes, try to use them and make simple pages.

Then I want a source which will teach me how to slice PSDs and convert them to HTML

Well when i mean source, i mean EBOOKS, BOOKS and SITES.

man W3Schools.com is da best to learn HTML and CSS
And first learn HTML then come to slicing

w3schools.com - Free and effective! Great depth of training and well presented.

Lynda.com has some pretty good video tuts.. you can download them @ warez-bb.. In the end they make u code a site from scratch so its quite good to begin with
