how to make vBulletin style XML?

You need to know: HTML, CSS, little bit of PHP & vBulletin template structure. Of course, you won't be making vBulletin template from scratch, you just create a new Default style. And you modify it by adding your navbar, your forumhome styling, your header, your footer, etc.

Template structure is very easy to learn, and you need to know a little bit of PHP just so you could know if you don't want some function how to delete it, or if you want to add something and you don't know where to add it.

Best thing for you now is to go on vBulletin.com and read the manual for template structure. Of course you need to know those other things I already mentioned.

thats what i wanted to hear, so basically i need vBulletin's default skin to get a start,
I can't make it from scratch,
i know i have to learn, css, html php. but the main thing is that i need to have their xml.

The whole magic is to click the "Add new style" button from Admin Control Panel. You give the name to the style, display order, and that's it. You start modifying it.

they changed the header, navbar footer and maybe template structure.

Every vBulletin template is created from the default one. Of course, most of the templates are completely re-encoded. They remove something that's not needed, style the buttons, add effects, change the forum display, etc.

well i made a skin, don't know if it deserves some thing or not. But i changed many things, and i can change more things. I tried to sell it here, Mod closed my thread saying that its a modification of free theme.
whats the that supposed to mean ? i made from the vBulletin default skiin.
