Default DLE rewrite / .htaccess issue

I don't like ending my URLs in .html. I prefer to end my URLs with a forward slash /. Can anyone help me to do this in .htaccess?

    Thanks

Ive already done this. The thing is ....... This option in DLE:

    SEO type used:

    Type 1 ...... http://www.yoursite.com/id-article_name.html
    Type 2 ...... http://www.yoursite.com/category/sub...icle_name.html
    Type 3 ...... http://www.yoursite.com/2008/04/02/article_name.html

When i choose Type 1 it automatically add the .html extension. I'm wondering how do u edit "Type1" so it wont add the .html extension?

    Thanks

Istead of .html add \/$ to the end of the new .htaccess URL where you want it .

Ofcourse it doesn't use .htaccess if you don't change your urls in .php files too. Change em where you need it .

Dude, if you want to change DLE URL structure.. you must be ready to modify ALL DLE FILES, I said ALL DLE FILES, one by one... There is no point .html or / in the end is the same thing, both means static content.

Don't think there is a easier way to do it, there isn't.
