Twilight is working again it seems.

Katz is not.

Katz is clearly connectable to, no problems with pinging and what not (although it has ridiculously horrible routing, might I add).

Port 80 is inaccessible.
Traceroutes/Pings work fine (although with packetloss and bad routing, since its in singapore).

Lots of people have being reporting problems with their autosubmiters. MechoSubmitter, Rardownload, GotPhaze before it went down and people with their own personal ones. I haven't had time to test or check anything but I did suspect Katz did something to prevent outside or external submitters being used.

Well they cannot block autosubmitters specifically, only IPs or IP ranges.
Autos have no signature, you cannot determine if a user is one.

e.g. a telnet to port 80 fails also.

So why does katz go through all the trouble to block ip ranges and make people have to buy VPN's and whatnot?
